People are really shooting high for Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival. I have a strong inkling that game is going to be ripped to bits by the gaming media.

Agreed. Not sure if anyone's really watched the gameplay.

It's basically Animal Crossing Candyland.

Yeah I rated it more like a Mario Party game or like Fortune Street rather than other Animal Crossing games.

I'm really surprised with the low predictions for Star Fox Zero. I for one think this very well could be the best local multiplayer game of the year as well as one the biggest highlights of the WiiU.

Considering this is another Nintendo and PG collaboration, predicting a score lower than 78 means you think it will be received even more poorly than the Wonderful 101. Think carefully which game Nintendo really holds to a higher quality standard.

I think there's just lots of people on this thread who are uninterested in the game, therefore judging it solely on graphics, controls and gameplay - which means it has to be bad because it has supposedly "terrible" graphics, has motion controls and is mostly an on-rails shooter which I guess has to make it an outdated game.

Anyways, we don't have any confirmation yet of a local multiplayer mode, so don't jump the gun there. I think with Platinum being the developer though, there's no doubt the game will be very good.

Edit: I'm totally wild guessing here, but I would bet money people had the same expectations for Splatoon.

:p

Previews have been pretty harsh for Star Fox Zero and since I haven't tried it myself that's about all I can go by and I assume it's the same for most people.

I don't think the preview were that harsh, they were more balanced, and it could be because the game is not really accessible at start. I say this mostly because of this review : http://nintendoenthusiast.com/article/starfox-zero-a-second-pass-brings-new-hope/ Which is the second one of the site, the first one was pretty harsh but after more time playing it, it seems the game start to be good.

So maybe it will be like Wonderful 101
