Wow, I'm surprised people are taking deathrattles seriously. It's been known that screw attack has a huge bias against anime characters (toph vs. gaara, seriously...). The best way to enjoy deathbattles are to just marvel at the animation done. After all, when it comes to research, they aren't experts, they just take what's interesting enough to make another fight and get views

They're not using Superman Prime, though. In fact, they're actually not even consistent with the Superman they are using. They used a composite Superman, despite saying they're restricting him to New 52. That whole "lifting infinity" thing......non-canon. There's no consistency in the continuity of the Superman character, so, ultimately, both death battles don't even make sense. Superman is, essentially, a different person in each incarnation. Screw Attacks ignores that and just puts the best characteristics of each Superman and mashes that into one character. Whereas Goku is just one continuity. Any one Superman (other than Superman Prime), Goku should be able to beat, whether it be an easy battle or a tough one. But when you take the best feats of 5 different versions of Superman, then put that all into one, then the guy is unbeatable, even compared to the actual gods of any given universe.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ScrewAttack version of Superman could one-shot The One Above All

Pretty sure Red Son Superman could destroy Goku quite finely, considering his personality.

All Star Superman is basically a no brainer for smudging Goku five ways from Sunday.

What a character should or should not be able to do is NOT up for the debate of the fans. The discussion is fine and dandy and it's all in good fun that we annoy one another with these types of things...but it always comes down to preferences.

Also, to whoever says Goku was supposed to be limitless: learn your DB and your DB background story. Goku was never meant to be reach beyond Frieza. Heck, he was never supposed to be some planet cracking super god. But fans demanded it, Toriyama was all too happy for the money, and here we are, with Cyan Hair Goku.

And none of these are actually taking into account Cosmic Armor Superman (but it's not Clark Kent/Kal El).

I'd swear this was posted weeks ago.

It probably was posted weeks ago for the first death battle.  They just did another death battle between them yesterday, so it's different.

Yeah, it all made sense when I saw the date from the YouTube video.

Superman is weak outside of Earth (He'd be just like a human back on Krypton)

Goku strength is consistent everywhere, he can just teleport Superman to an atmosphere where it'll strip Superman of all his powers and Goku can just toy with him as if Superman is like Mr. Satan. Goku could also just destroy the sun making Superman weak as well.

Superman has enough weaknesses that Goku can exploit if he wanted to.I don't get how this was ever a challenge for Goku.

Incorrect. Only if go by the movie Man Of Steel does this apply. In comics, he originally is mutated by the yellow sun and obtains these powers. Taking him away from the yellow sun wouldn't cause him to lose his super abilities (and yet again Superman Prime can be away from the yellow sun for a practically indefinite amount of time as well as fight under a red sun for a limited amount of time).

The question is, how long do people expect the battle to last? It wouldn't be a long drawn out fight, Goku doesn't fight like that. He throws himself at his enemies head first every time. He doesn't study what his enemies are weak against or form stategies. He shows up, and fights them at full strength. The natural way Goku confronts a battle would mean he'd be dead pretty much instantly. The only real "strategy" he used in a fight was to grab Radit's tail and get himself killed.

Are you serious right now? You should go and watch the original dragon ball and say goku doesn't have any strategy in fact you can watch any db series (except GT) and you'll see goku thinks on his feet in battle and doesn't just throw himself at an opponent and has had multiple strategies.

Name some of his best strategies in DBZ (I'd go with when he was more powerful, but you already mentioned he doesn't really use stategy in GT).

It takes some pretty damn good strategy to keep your opponent from killing you for 4 episodes while you power up a Spirit Bomb lol.

Really? Goku lives for fighting, and he would act like that if he's losing.

He doesn't go out of his way to try and kill someone or harm Earth though.  I've never seen Goku do that against a good guy.  His demeanor is that of a positive challenger who wants to get stronger but it's not like he'd do anything to get there aside of training harder.

Death Battle makes the combatants bloodlusted, so they have to act like that.
