Do you realize that free DLC is a ponzy sheme, its content taken away to put in later for the most part. The patch is not optional on consoles, it will ask you all the time to update It if the game sniffs an online conection, with Steam maybe too i think

PC version actually seen a notable increase with this patch based on my experience. Max settings on PC and seen a ~10 fps increase on a GTX 980. They need to really dumb down these console versions though, the hardware simply can't handle it.

1.07 already, massive bug fix list, this game was not ready for release.
I enjoyed the beta anyway, finished it despite running into various bugs, some broken quests and performance issues. I kinda glitched through the final quest, was a bit of an anti climax. I see 1.07 finally addresses the horrible inventory system. A couple drops in frame rate is worth spending less time with inventory management.
Patch is too late, game is uninstalled, traded in for Arkham Knight. W3 is not goty contender for me anymore.

It also took Bethesda 6+ months to put out that patch. Let's not twist facts.

You're correct, it was 4 months. Looked up the patch dates. CDPR has 2 months to see if they're worse then Bethesda then!

Still i'm not disagreeing with you that the console version is unacceptable.

Seriously, is it cool to bash CDPR and TW3 on this site while making baseless assumptions wearing a tinfoil hat? The patch is optional, end of discussion. Saying its not optional because a notification comes up is just plain wrong. Making theories that they took away content to add it in later for free for no other purpose than PR is baseless.

This site is as bad as N4G if not worse at times. You can criticise TW3 for dropping frames in certain parts of the map all you want but to hype up Fallout 4 as the second coming in the same breath after how bad and how long it took Bethesda to fix the numerous game breaking bugs in Skyrim is ridiculous.

It was a game designed for PC, and thus the consoles are struggling to run it smoothly. There's going to be a sacrifice made somewhere to achieve whatever goal it may be (image quality at the cost of framerate, framerate at the cost of image quality). Even a PC has to be fairly beefy to "have it all".

Instead of blaming the devs for trying to run against the metal on the PS4/Xbox One, try accepting what you got and just be happy with it? They're obviously trying to find a balance between image quality and performance, but until they find a happy median, can people NOT be so dramatic?! >.>

But if you're telling me this vast, full to the brim of compelling content $60 game I bought actually should have had EVEN MORE awesome compelling content then I just gotta say WOW if only ever dev were as bad as CDPR.

On PS4 you can cancel auto-updates for all games at once. You can disable auto-update on a game by game basis on steam. 

Can't speak for X1 but the patch is optional on PS4 and PC. You can launch the game without completing the update on both.

The new control scheme is crazy good. Playing on PC so I don't have to deal with the drama, yay.
