An amazing EVO with some insane matches. I mainly came for Smash but I ended up watching a bit of every game. It was nice to get a small taste of what the rest of the FGC is like.

sorry this is late but takeaways from Melee this year:

- Plup is freakin' amazing. taking out Mango and Leffen (with Samus!) and placing 4th, he has nowhere to go but up.

- Mango played unbelievably awful in top 8.

- Hungrybox played amazing, was close to bracket reset too.

- Leffen's steam ran out as i predicted.

- my prediction for Armada to win came true. although i think he was kind of scared of HBox, game 3 of grand finals he was camping almost the whole match.

- dissapointing that PPMD went out so easily, i was expecting to see PP vs. Armada grand finals.  there was so much hype for him.

- incredible that ChuDat even placed in top 8 at all.
