It's a nice little milestone that Sony should be proud of:

PlayStation 3 has officially sold one million units at UK retail, hitting the milestone faster than PSOne or PS2.

Good news and congrats. The ps3 seems to be making up with fairly poor American reception by increased support from the EU. But Japan still isn't too pretty.

Note: Didn't it do this about a month or two ago though? It seems I read about this awhile ago.
