Pretty much what I thought. Games sounds like a straight port to the PS4 which isn't enough for me to justify the purchase since there are so many new games coming out that I want to play.

But it's not just going to be 1080p/60fps with higher res textures, better character models, better special effects and better AA, it's going to play better too.

Not sure how the play better part is going to work.  The series played fine for me when I played it and I never thought or cared that it wasn't 1080p/60fps , higher textures, better characters models or special effects.

Now if they were to totally change up the gameplay then I would be interested but also it wouldn't be a remater.

in U1 only the monsters at the end were a bit bullet spongie, thankfully you had lots of machine gun ammunition in that sequence, U2/3 have faaaar more and faaaaar more annoying bullet sponges all throughout ... (which is why I prefer U1 to the other titles)

seriously the heavies take several AK47 clips to their heads to stop

Nice. I wonder if it'll also have new trophies seeing as the multiplayer trophies won't be available.

Yes. Naughty Dog already stated there would be new trophies.

Good.

All ND games are meant to be played on harder difficulty levels. TLoU in particular is so much better player on survival mode.

Survival? It's all about that Grounded mode.

Torn. I only played the first three once, each. Great games and I like the idea of improved character models ( the ones people used in graphics comparisons to make Xbox 360 gamers feel bad!) but I'm not sure if the games have improved enough....

I line what TR Definitive Edition did and I really like when a game is totally remade like Twin Snakes, REmake, and the upcoming Gears of War.

I was let down by TLoUR (great game but no noticeable major upgrades) and various others. This hand is somewhere in between. I'll probably buy it but I'm not sure it will be a day one. Hell, I never bought MC Collection because I didn't feel it did enough.

I'm torn as well. It would be nice to have all 3 on one disc in 1080p60. Yet I never thought the visuals or frame rate were lacking on ps3, plus I can put those in any time without the need for an install or check for hdd space.

I did enjoy Tlou remaster, photo mode saved that and it was great to play through a 3rd time. Though I would have felt slightly ripped off if it weren't for the $30 trade in value from the ps3 versions towards the ps4 version. I doubt the Uncharted ps3 trilogy will knock of much from the $75 price tag on the collection :/

What did TR definitive edition do? I never played the ps3/360 version, same with GTA5, waiting for the next gen version paid off.

I rather have them keep the games the same though. The Gears of war remaster doesn't look appealing to me. Simply adding commentaries to Grim Fandango was enough, I even played it all the way trough with the original tank controls. I hate that confusion when you walk into the next screen and the controls reverse. Ico could have used better definition in the backgrounds, yet I'm glad they didn't change it too much. Windwaker HD originally put me off because they changed the lighting. I prefer that sharp cartoony look instead of the soft lighting of the remaster. The rest of the game looks so good I quickly forgot about that though. Improvements are nice as long as the look of the game doesn't change.

Of course I enjoy remakes too, TR anniversary was great. And the lick of paint the original Monkey island games got didn't hurt the games at all. (I don't like the new 3D ones though)

The best remasters are the cross-buy ones anyway. Looking forward to the free upgrade of Journey :)

Blech. I initially enjoyed Survival, but within hours I felt I was cheesing my way through the game rather than honestly playing it. Scrounging in the environment for a couple bullets while enemies and NPCs shoot nonstop also kind of killed the mood, especially when these same enemies who fired 20+ rounds magically have nothing when dropped. The satisfaction of chucking molotovs & nail bombs at enemies comes all too infrequently as well. I don't even care to think about Grounded.

That said, I'll give the new Uncharted difficulty a whirl, trophy or no.

Day one~

Cool will the trophies get over or i have to get them again ???
