Forums - Nintendo - Will the Wii U have another million seller this year?

Super Mario Maker should easily sell more than a million.

XCX will do a million WW this year.

Mario Maker has almost 4 full months, comes out September 11th in NA, and I think the rest of the release dates are close?
Either way Mario Maker should have next to no trouble pushing 1 million this year with the first few months plus holidays.

Out of curiosity is there any reason you think UCraft is going to perform well on the Wii U?

All it seems to be is just a Minecraft lookalike because of the fact that Minecraft isn't officially on the Wii U.

Super Mario Maker will sell 1m easily. As will Mario Party 10 and possibly Star Fox Zero if they market it well.

Furthermore, Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover and Captain Toad should reach the milestone this year.

Also I think Mario Party 10 will definitely hit 1 million since it's Mario Party.
Mario Maker will also hit 1 million easily as well.
Splatoon has already hit 1 million.

only a month. i doubt it would be a million witihn a month.  i hope. but i think around 300k would be a good shot for a month.  unless Nintendo really went overdrive for marketing over XCX.

Probably Super Mario Maker.

I don't see any other titles hitting 1M this year.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Cube life has off and on been the number one eshop game since it released. I already made a thread showing Ucraft dominating cube life in everything. Watch the recent trailer and you'll see it has big potential.

Yeah, but it still is just a "Minecraft isn't officialy on Wii U so we made this game that looks like it to try and fill that void" type of game.  I don't see how it would sell a million.

Not to discredit the developers, I understand they're making it for the people who really wanted Minecraft on the Wii U so they want to make a game similar to it, but to me it just looks like a complete ripoff.
