Depends of kid, my 5 years old just love Mario and company games.

My kid (if i had one) would love me and say i'm the best dad on the whole planet because the newest Nintendo home console is the only thing he/she ever wanted in his/her life. Seriously though, if i had children, they would probably get a Nintendo console just like my father gave me one when they are old enough so they would like it.

Yes, nothing like Nintendo console for small kids. Unfortunatelly, Nintendo is not realising (or not giving a damn for some reason) that they have this small kids audience, but they need something to keep them once they hit 13-14 years and their friends are playing GTA, CoD and AC.

IF I had a kid, they would probably confused since we already have one but eventually fine with it since it would be one Daddy wouldn't kick them off of when booting them from the living room.

Of course not, in the moment they play a single race on Mario Kart 8 they would be excited as hell.

I don't have a kid but I'd assume they'd be happy to have one, since most younger members of my family that get one seem happy with it. An older kid might be a different story but you never know.

My nephews and nieces would be overjoyed. They love it when I bring my WiiU to family events. They're always asking me about what games I'm getting next.

Granted, they're under 6 years old - so they probably wouldn't know any better. But they'd be disappointed that the X1 or PS4 doesn't have Mario games. Their parents aren't gamers, so they wouldn't care either way.

My 6 year old is already asking for a gaming pc, complaining it's my laptop's fault Minecraft mods keep crashing the game. They both only play Minecraft and PvZ garden warfare on ps4. The younger one still likes the WiiU, anything Mario and Lego and Toy story 3 on ps3. They would be most happy with another iPad, not gonna happen. They are spoiled enough.

I don't think they would be unhappy about a WiiU if we didn't have one already. They love the gamepad. They can play any time and watch their own shows on it. I love it too that they can't take it into their room.

If I had a kid, I can't see myself just buying them a Wii U when all their friends have PS4's (and XB1's) if I got him/her a Wii U they'd have to already have a blue or green box.
