The Shenmue 3 Kickstarter campaign has been one of the more successful ever started, with the game managing to gather a rather big amount of money in just a few days. The campaign will end next week and we will probably learn more about the game soon.

The fact that we will be learning more about the game soon is hinted by the fact that the Shenmue 3 Official Website has been opened earlier today. The website, which is available in both Japanese and English language, includes the game’s reveal trailer as well as interviews, a community section and more. Nothing that we didn’t know already about Shenmue 3 is included in the website but it will surely be updated as soon as more comes in on the game.

I wish they'd release the previous two in hd,as I've never played them. I remember someone that did back in the day,so I know what the games play like,but I want to experience them for myself.

There exists some ridiculous legal issues regarding Shenmue I & II, that's why SEGA didn't rereleased them a few years ago when they rereleased some of their old games (and because those games flopped).

Wouldn't hold my seat for the original games coming back.
