I enjoyed the game and don't regret the purchase but, in a lot of ways, it was the worst of the Arkham series.

-Arkham Knight reveal was a hugeletdown

- Batmobile was a great addition but was used in mundane ways

-Too much vehicle combat

-No epic boss fights

-Batman's awesome foes relegated filler

-VERY repetitive

Along with Tomb Raider, this was going to be my game of the year.  Not a bad game but not the mind blowing experience I wanted.  Story, atmosphere, graphics, gameplay etc were as good as ever but the package as a whole just felt disappointing. Agree?

Batman games are over rated, and the only reason it gets its high scores like these are because its batman.

"be the batman" and everybody loses their shit. my brother has brought the game, i am still playing The Witcher 3 and will be playing it for a LONG time as well, so much to do. but once i am done i will play Batman because why the fuck not, i dont expect much. blow shit up with batmobile, glide somewhere, punch a few people in the face and repeat. 

No..it's because the games were really good. Witcher can't compare, the combat is "generations apart".

Batman Arkhan Asylum was the shittiest AAA game i ever played.

Well... Witcher 2 had worse boss fights.

Arkham Origins is the really the only one with good bosses, the other games either do them okay or bad.

Yeah, that seems to sound like the jist of it. Was pretty pumped for the game, then didn't realize it came out, then heard all the horror stories and now just don't have any enthusiasm any more.

Which is a shame, really.

And yet you see the game with incredibly high scores everywhere, all open world games with good graphics are way overrated by the critics, specially rocksteady ones.

Loved it, couldn't stop playing it. To compare I'm fed up with TW3 about 10 hours in, I just find i dull. And full of fetch quests which is ironic.

I thought the boss fights were ok but easy, although I was playing on easy difficulty.

I enjoyed the psychological elements to it. Combat is unrivalled. beautiful visually, with a familiar artstyle to previous games but more impressive.

Slightly annoyed you have to 100% it to see the ending but it makes sense why.

10/10.
