Kojima, Del Toro, and Reedus are all big names. AAA game development is expensive enough, having those three big names would have made Silent Hills even more expensive. Even worse, the Silent Hill IP hasn't been relevant for years and since the release of the first Silent Hill for the PS1 has been suffering mostly declining sales if vg is to be believed.

A collaboration between the aforementioned three was just too good to be true.

Kojima doesn't make horror games and Reedus is unnecessary. If they got rid of those 2 they could have still made the game.

Yeah but I don't think Del Toro has much experience with video game production. Should have just been Kojima.

Yea but Del Toro knows horror and can make some pretty creepy monster designs. But ah well... This game could have been amazing. T^T

Am I the only one not putting the whole blame for this mess on Konami? Should Kojima be blamed too? I'm basing my standpoint on his role In the company.

And a video about Kojima's responsibility as an artist:

No. We really don't know what has happened between Kojima and Konami. It's was/is a witch hunt against Konami. Everyone is so sure Kojima is a victim and act like Kojima did not do any mistakes. I think there is a very real possibility Kojima's ego grew way too big and could not take a NO from anyone. We really don't know who's to blame.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Such is the state of AAA game development.

Exactly. Problems (and life) is not black and white, it's grey. And in this matter it's obvious if you have an open mind. Fans attachment to Kojima and his legacy stops them from also blaming him. Instead it's easier to blame Konami.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

Doesn't change the fact Konami are turning this into a highschool drama, trying to blot Kojima's name out of existence, something they have no right to do even if he is a dick.  They could have been professionals about this and just parted ways like gentlemen.  Instead they are stripping his name from MGSV where at all possible and wouldn't even allow his name to be mentioned in interviews at E3.  Not that they refused to answer questions about him, you couldn't even say "Kojima."  And that's pathetic and petty, I don't care what's going on.
