In which way is Xenoblade 3D watered down? Are contents missing from 3DS game or is it just graphically?

I was an early adopter of the 3ds and that started horribly, but soon we were given an ambassador program so that wasn't too bad.
It was when I became an early adopter off the Wii u that I realized it is always best to wait a couple of months before buying something completely. Now the Wii u has some good games, but in the beginning it was portrayed way better then it actually turned out.
Moral of the story, always wait awhile to see if a purchase is worth it. Sometimes you're also rewarded with bundles or price cuts
I still need a N3DS. So I will purchase it.....as soon as the price goes down. :)

I've been meaning to upgrade to a n3dsxl because I prefer the xl size and almost always play in 3d.
Right now I don't know if the nx will replace the 3ds or what but the systems near the end of it's life regardless. If the next Nintendo handheld doesn't get backward compatibility I'll definitely pick on up.
New 3DS is really only worth it if you are a hardcore gamer and like the extra power, or you never owned a 3DS before.
For everyone else there is no point.
