Well, don't worry. Edmund McMillen has heard your plea and you'll be getting The Binding of Isaac, semi - exclusively for the New 3DS.

It doesn't seem like you put that in your OP... But still, why? Nintendo's released a slightly beefed up revision of a handheld console before without giving it much exclusive support at all. The GBA SP was ever-so-slightly better than the GBA yet it didn't get anything new and the DSi was again lightly upgraded and only got like three(?) games. (All of which weren't important.) Nintendo's track record with releasing exclusive content on revised versions of consoles isn't so good!

One game uses it, most pointless Nintendo release of recent times. Make some exclusives for it, it then be a good purchase.

I was honestly hoping that with some better hardware specs. there would be games to take advantage of that as opposed to a handful.

Yeah, I couldn't justify it. I would only be able to get $100 for my 3DS if I was lucky, making it a $100 upgrade just for a few neat extra features. I could buy a boadload of games for that price, or a brand new 3DS game plus a brand new Wii U game. It was a little tempting, but once I finished Majora's Mask 3D and saw that there were no new games coming down the pipeline that I was interested in, it was easier to pass.

That's why I kept my XL.

That's too bad but at least you don't have to buy the Amiibo peripheral for compatibility :p

The stable 3d and improved processor which made the UI much quicker were both huge for me. Especially the stable 3d.

I'm kinda glad I haven't purchased it, although I'm still semi tempted lol
