Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest are niche? Ok...

Please tell me you're joking by what you're implying.

No, I'll bite. Call me back when there's a new Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest that isn't a niche copy/paste throwaway spin off that tries to copy Samurai Warriors, Minecraft, or Pokémon coming to the Vita.

One that isn't just a port from a more successful home console.

Yes, in the Vita's case, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest are literally the textbook definition of niche.

Everyone knows you shouldn't post positive stuff about the Vita.

Its dead because it has no games.

You do not fight the crowd. You go with the flow.

That's one childish way to downplay what are Dragon Quest Hereos and Dragon Quest Builder

Dafuq is a Vita? Sounds unimportant.

When did having too many games start becoming an issue? I thought the more games you get, the better...? ; )

It's getting so many games that not only is my wallet getting destroyed but I don't have time to play most of them!

Haha, I def know your feelings and pain. I tend to buy the games I want on day 1, and even when it's just 3 or 4 games, it still hurts my wallet. Though since the games I like are niche, it's more possible for them to become rare and expensive, so I gotta get them quick....

I think a video like this is the best reply:

Its not Mario or Pokemon.... But the Vita is getting the new Digimon.

This is the PS vita version of Pokemon (a lets play of a vita user with the japanese game) (out soon in english):

^ it plays games like these (video above).

Well.....one can't really own a Vita and NOT have a backlog. Vita too good.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

It's not childish. It's true. No one's saying the games won't be fine, but they are the definition of niche. Dragon Quest is already one of the less mainstream JRPGs. Combining that franchise with the already niche Musou for a spin off, and then porting that to the Vita isn't turning into this super desirable, must have 3rd party game for the Vita. No one's looking at Dragon Quest Builder and saying "how is the Vita selling like shit with Dragon Questcraft on the horison!?" These are games only .001% of the gaming audience would care about, and wadger it's because most people will never even care enough to learn that they exist.

So yeah, I am downplaying them a bit in the context of "how is the Vita selling so porely with so many 3rd party games," which, let's be clear, is what this side discussion is actually about.

Kind of ironic that a lot of people on gaming forums agree that third party studios shouldn't waste their time on the Wii U because the userbase is too low, but I never see people question why the Vita gets so much third party support.

Saying they are just "copy/paste throwaway spin off that tries to copy Samurai Warriors, Minecraft " is just wrong and trolling limit, you'd know that if you had played DQ H
