So, when discussing Japanese software sales there are only 3 hardware families that matter, PlayStation, Nintendo and (rather briefley) Sega, those 3 have the only systems (plural) that have sold what could be considered good in Japan, which in turn caused good software sales.
This thread is for the other systems, the ones that were more niche and whose software information is rather scarce.
Now, despiete the title this thread ins't part of the Top 50 Best Selling games in Japan (I mean its in my signature but it's not that important) as the information is so little and even then the sales are so low. This is just a bonus for fun, the data here is rather hard to come by so I guess consider yourself lucky.
Unlike the other threads, there won't be a combine chart per gen, per hardware family or anything like that, just the data that exists per system, if you want any of the info I just mention check the other threads in my signature.

The PC-FX is the Japan only successor of the PC Engine.
