Forums - Gaming - What do you want/expect for the Ouya 2?

Come on, Dolphin is way out of reach. You even need a beefy CPU on a usual PC for dolphin, how will an android-device be able to run games? PSP is good, though.

PPSSPP:  Tegra X1 (1080p):

You can play with settings and get this to a basically smooth 30 fps.

Tegra X1 running a gamecube game (720p)

You can tell it has abit of performance issues, with sutter, and lag spikes down into the 24-25 range, instead of constant smooth 30fps.

Probably price/performance wise the best emulation machine ever..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I expect it to never exist.

Signature goes here!

It will make Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo irrelevant, and cause world hunger.

In all seriousness, I don't expect it to be that much stronger than thenoriginal Ouya, and it probably won't di that well.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I think it would have a Tegra K1, 2gb or 3gb of RAM, 16gb of storage expandable up to 64 gb with Micro SD, and the Ouya skin over Android 4.4.2. It would go for for the same price tag of $100 and would come with a controller with improved triggers and shoulder buttons that can be bought separately for $50.

But the Ouya 2 will never happen.
