As you already know, World of Tanks is coming to Xbox One and, as we near release, we’d like to share several key dates with you:

July 10: Pre-Download

• Pre-download WoT on Xbox One so you can get the installation out of the way and join the Beta test battle-ready when the servers go live!

July 11 - 12: Beta Weekend

• Enjoy early access to the WoT Xbox One battlefield before launch. Beta weekend begins the second Saturday of July and lasts 48 hours. Don’t miss out!

July 28: Release of World of Tanks on Xbox One

• The long-awaited debut. Climb into your favorite metal monsters and enjoy the same great gameplay with stunning new graphics!

World of Tanks on Xbox One supports cross-platform play, so you can still battle with your Xbox 360 friends. Additionally, hard-earned vehicles, XP, Silver and Premium time on your existing Xbox Live account will be carried over.

New pVe Mode: Proving Grounds

World of Tanks on Xbox gets a new mode: Proving Grounds, a PvE mode where you can use any tank in your Garage to tackle the challenges that follow and showcase your combat abilities against AI controlled enemies.

Proving Grounds contains four scenarios, each with friendly AI to assist, that resemble the combat modes found in Random Battles: Standard, Assault and Encounter. The last scenario is special because it's a boss fight! An enemy E-100 must be eliminated, and it's up to you and your AI allies to breakthrough the AI defenders and confront this tier X menace!

World of Tanks on this website seems to fly under the radar even with it's massive popularity, success and pure enjoyment.  So pre-download the beta July 10th, Join me in battle July 11th, 12th on the beta and play the game July 28th non-stop. Not only is it free but it's cross play with your 360 and soon to be with Windows 10.

After 2 years of saying I was going to play World of Tanks on the PC I finally did last year and I was amazed by it, The original shell of the game for people who haven't played it appears as just a simple tank shooter game but the reality of it it much much different. The mechanics of everything and learning them can be daunting for new players and lead to 100's of games barley hitting anything or getting kills before you can even grasp what to do.

After playing for 6 months with 2.5k battle under my belt I finally consider myself a decent player even in comparison to many im still the spring chicken at 2.5k, battles player and after many hours reading up and watching videos explaining the mechanics I still learn new things all the time, During this year I've moved my focus away from PC gaming a lot and this was about the only game I missed at times and now with the Xbox One launch it could be time for me to get back to it.

TLDR: The game is unforgiving with a very steep learning curve but spend a bit of time learning it and it will blow your mind and you will understand why it is such a great game.

It took me a while to play it but once I put some time on I got addicted, Great game.

I'll try it out again. Only played a couple of minutes when it 1st came to 360

The new Chinese tier 7/8 light tanks are beastes!

Always wanted to check this out. Is the beta open to anyone or maybe us preview members?

Never played it before but I like how they made an improved version for Xbox One and it looks really good.
