I'm not sure story focused games can use this kind of technology since worlds and whatnot have to be premade and set to fit the story but I get what you're saying. This is why I think its an excellent move for Sony to be pushing indies so hard.

It doesn't look like it's for me but it does look like a very good game. Hopefully it'll turn out to be great for those who get it and play!

Absolutely but they could create a hybrid-type universe so that the story can run on pre-generated worlds but side missions and multiplayer could run alongside a co-existing procedurally generated universe - epic.
