We have some gameplay elements, but what about the story? We have to do that too! Let's begin. Continue off of what I say

Mario, having settled down after his last adventure, moved to Houston TX, married Princess Peach, and had 3 kids named Mario Jr., Apple, and Maria. But suddenly, Dr. Eggman, who is on an evil buisness trip, finds the beautiful Princess and kidnaps her, and brings her to Space Colony Ark 2.0. Mario, though a bit older, is ready to save his bride, and enlists the help of his old friend Goombario. Mario speaks, and says to Goombario with his Wil Wheaton voice, "Hey old friend, I need your help again to save the Princess.". Goombario responds, "Hey man, I'm a grown-man now. I have a job. I can't help man. I have a family to support and I would lose my job if I went with you."

What will the hero do to get Goombario back on his team? Well, Mario decides to ruin the company that Goombario is working for, which as a result gets Goombario laid off, leaving Goombario no choice but to help Mario!

And they go off to find a way to Eggman!

But wait! Mario's block-hitting has finally got to him and his hand starts bleeding a lot! They head to the hospital.

Mario says to Goombario, "I need you to search for Peach alone, and wait until I recover."

NOTE: There will be a final version with will combine everything after this thread dies, and I will post at times to make the story go in a certain direction.

Goombario says, "Fuck it" and then runs off

Goombario ends up getting kidnapped by Eggman anyways, as he tries to run off.

Goombario is taken to Space Colony Ark, which is World 1. Goombario finds a way to espace, but sadly could not rescue Peach, and finds himself at Brooklyn, New York, World 2.

But unfortunately, he doesn't have the right Amiibo so he is unable to progress, as World 2 is Disc locked. Get's captured and is sent back to World 1

While in the alleys of Brooklyn, Goombario hears of tales that there are certain kind of people that have the power to help him transverse between two worlds. His quest leads him to becoming a pimp to find these people. For months he isn't able to come across them. Then finally he finds a lady who is willing to work for him and has a pretty large adam's apple. This might be the one. He questions this lady, "How do I transverse between two worlds?" The lady says, "It is just the way you are born. I have no powers to get you to the next world. I am both man and woman and I transverse between two worlds." Well damn... Is our hero screwed? Hell no... Fortunately through pimping he has been able to make enough money to acquire this amiibo, from a scapler, that is needed to get to the next world.

Upon arriving into the new world, Goombario stumbles into a mysterious forest. This forest was like no other ever seen before. It had lollipops hanging off of trees that flickered bright colors and glowed. These lights were a distraction, for the ground was dark as night.

Admiring the glowing candy and not looking to where he was stepping, Goombario fell into a massive hole. Thinking of ways to save himself, he remembered a saying when entering massive holes. It's not the size that matters, it's the motion of the ocean. He tried to wiggle around and touch the sides, but the hole was so massive he couldn't feel anything. Not being able to satisfy this saying, he felt disappointed in himself.

Goombario had falling into a giant haunted mansion. It was a fairly simple level. Then he arrived to a room with a giant bed. There was a humongous boo on top of it. Inside the boo was a key to the next stage. The boo said, "the only way to get past here, is if you come inside me."

Goombario was confused. He had to find a way to insert himself inside the boo and get the key. Knowing it might kill him, he knew he had to do it. He held his breath and went for it. He jumped in and ran for the key. Goombario grabbed the key as his life drained and ran to get out. Just as soon as his life ticked to its last, he got out just in time.

The boo was angry and kept screaming, "You came inside me! You came inside me!"

Goombario looked at the boo and said, "It was fun, but whatever happens to you after this is not my responsibility. You told me to come inside you."

He then unlocked the door to the next stage and entered.

And the next stage, World 4, was another Ice level! What a surprise!

Goombario took it on like a man, but after he beat World 4-1, he say Birdo, who said to him, "I am Birdo. I am a Bird-o. Yay. Yay. Yay."

She then said Yay 103029 more times before Goombario finally cried. Then he realized he could just walk away and go to World 4-2.
