Haha, maybe so. They did reveal other games outside of E3, like Majora's Mask Remake, FE Fates, and SMT x FE for the first time in.. April? So they kind of spread out news throughout the year. I did wish they would leave more for E3 though...

Lol yeah! I think they got their priorities mixed up! SMT x FE at E3 for the first time would have been so awesome... x ) Dunno why they did it so early. The game is coming out Q4 in Japan...

Likely holiday 2016. I get his point. It has been that way since last E3 because of the same reasons. Of course, that's not to say that E3 didn't suck.



Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

But, I understand what he's saying and I definitely prefer when companies don't announce games 200 years before release. Problem is that Nintendo showed Zelda when it was even futher away from release...


They have been using Zelda U, Xeno Blada X among others since one of their 1st directs in early 2013-  they have been showing and reshowing games long befoere they were ready to release since the Wi u was launched-  so his words are typical Reggie BS

He also said the FUNDAMENTALLY dd not like to show games that were not going to be released beyond 6-12+/- months out-  yet they have done so previous to this year for as far back as i can remembeber and they will do so again

While Western is "sometime in 2016".....

They probably did it for the Japanese audience, though E3 still would have been a better time to do it... :

Reggie s BS is a good indicator of what Nintendo really thins of its more loyal fans: that they are naïve, suckers that will "buy into" anything we (Nintendo) tell them

Unfortunately most of the time they do "buy" whatever Nintendo is selling but I think/hope they have finally pushed the limit and now even many of their most loyal are understandably getting frustrated

He needs to understand that Zelda footage alone will not fix the issue. Sure the core fans will jizz themselves however they really needed new IP announcements to wow the general gaming community.
