Forums - Politics - The conspiracy theory thread

I can't stand it when people spout off about chem trails. Their existence would be the most asinine thing for those utilizing it. "We need to bring down the population in order for our nefarious goals to succeed. I've got it -- let's contaminate the air with a substance we inhale as well!" Why not just push to make smoking popular again?

The thing about conspiracies is that Occam's Razor shreds most of them. The only conspiracy that it seems to support is man-made global warming. Applying Occam's Razor tells us that the warming is far more likely to be completely natural.

Occam's razor is just a tool to throw the scent off conspiracies. When humans are involved, the simplest explanation is hardly ever the full story. Just look at the mess that taxation has become over the decades, or anything that has to do with government.

Chemtrails don't make sense, yet contrails do seem to effect the weather and reflect solar radiation. Stop air traffic and it gets hotter. Fly more to keep the world cooler!
