Putting aside all the Adr1ft, Below, Cuphead and the others big indie game that are already well knowed, let's talk about the indie game which you're waiting, but maybe other people didn't know about this game.

Personally, I'm waiting as hell Y2K : A Postmodern RPG, because it's like earthbound, with much strangeness and with an awesome art direction. And it comes this year ! And on PC, PS4, Wii U and Vita (no Xbox One sadly).

Personally, I'm really excited for Salt & Sanctuary, Heart Forth, Alicia, and Death's Gambit. They all look like Metroidvania games with some Dark Souls thrown in as well.

RIME is a day1 for me but that is well known among PlayStation gamers.

Note: it's an independant studio but the game is funded, owned and published by Sony.

Y2K, Red Goddess: Inner World, Collectums, RIME, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Azbu, Fast Racing Neo, Cuphead, Ashen, FireWatch, and Rocket League. There are more of them, but those are the ones that come to mind for me.
