But I already know they'll support their system the devs aren't sitting around twittling their thumbs

well i got a wii u and got 3 games in 2015 so far. thats nothing i would call support. 2016 looks even worse.

Yeah I just listed mine on Ebay.  It's been a Smash and Mario Kart box for too long and it's not worth holding onto for Virtual console and Zelda alone.

Generally yes, although I think there are exceptions (console launches and new Ips).

Fallout 4 has honestly been the most perfectly handled AAA reveal in recent memory. By launch hype will still be at peak, versus if it was coming out november 2016...

I can't believe I just saw someone asking for 2-3 year turnovers between reveal and release, thats digusting lol.

Yeah and the worst part is I think that's indicative of how people handle their games nowadays.  They anticipate and anticipate then by the time the game comes out they're already thinking of the sequel.  I can't tell you how many articles I see now when a game releases that are talking about what should happen in the sequel.  Enjoy the moment people!

I miss the days where you knew about games 2 years before they come out. I really like following the development.

Really? I hate the wait. A game should be annouced no more than 1 year before release.
