Yeah the presentation of the game almost felt like a tech demo instead of a game reveal, it wasn't very meaty. Definitely interesting but it didn't give a good feel at all for how the game really plays. These are the kind of details Im interested in.

Do ppl complain about any kind of trailer these days ? If theres no gameplay, ppl complain, if theres gameplay ppl complain it didnt show the systems, if theres systems ppl complain there was not enought gameplay. The time to demo a game on stage is not limitless, as far as demos go this was one of the best ever made.

Fallout new vegas writer is taking over story in this game.

Like I said, they've recognised and addressed one of their main weaknesses. And the great thing about a FO writer is that post apocalypse is in his wheel house. But still we are in uncharted waters for GG. But one warning bell is "taking over story". That suggests story problems currently, and how much licence does the NV guy have to re-write the story? Or is he going to be expected to put lipstick on a pig and pass it off as a supermodel? It is very hard to come in half way through a project and turn a problem area into a strength. I'd rather hear about a major delay and do over than for the game to hit a 2016 release target and be as big a disappointment as The Order. And this is coming from someone who actually likes The Order, warts and all. Though in The Order's case it wasn't story that was the problem.

Im pretty sure he meant the New Vegas guy is helming the story and not that he came into the project now after E3. The way they talked about the story in interviews its pretty much finalized theyre just not talking about it too much.

What? I saw how it played in that gameplay demo.

This isnt groundbreaking or new, but the game looks so phenomenal already that the announcement of these gameplay details just elevates the hype I have for this game.

I have never been even close to this impressed by or excited for a Geurilla games game. It seems they have stepped up their game significantly. This looks liked an uncharted 1 to uncharted 2-level jump in quality. I hope I'm not let down.

What I mean by that is, yes we saw what the momemt-to-moment gameplay is (its probably going to control and play like a third person shooter like Uncharted or the Last of Us), but the demo didn't show any of the other systems off.  Is there going to be a level up system? Couldn't tell from the demo.  Is it going to be open world?  Couldn't tell from the demo.  Is there going to be a crafting system? Couldn't tell from the demo.

We didn't see anything besides the main character shooting an enemy in a beautiful and original environment, but that wasn't  enough for me at the time to say 'omg this game looks amazing'.

Now that more details are coming out a better picture is forming.  I'm excited to see this stuff in action :)

ONE video can't and never will convey what is under the hud of the entore game. It's actually a good thing to leave 'questions' instead of answers, at least until it's near release date. MM are also taking the same approach with Dreams.

So maybe 75% Far Cry and 25% Monster Hunter?

Horizon will make Witcher fans happy.

Don't copy random editorials.

Always thought Guerilla had brilliant art and tech on their side, glad that they're delivering a game where the gameplay speaks to me aswell.this is exactly the kind of game, this generation was lacking. An Original action adventure title with RPG developement and open world structure. Essentially Zelda without the puzzles although I hope there is more to do in the world then just fight Dinos

Sounds good so far.

You forgot The Witcher 3 is also the kind of game you're talking about.
