A 5 man team essentially created something that looks better than most of what Nintendo had to present this E3. Let that sink in for a moment.

It's the Wii U's F-Zero. I hope this game does well.

Not fair, they are not men but appearently wizards!

Looks good. Player sucks. If you look closely, there are come obvious shortcuts done to get the 60fps. For example, the trees on the first track are just (high res) 2D images. I respect it. Not like you'd notice at 500mph.

hm, having seen this I have to say I prefer shorter tracks with more focus on cornering, like in Wipeout HD

The trees close to the track certainly are not images.  The further off ones might be sprites ortwo planes crossed (these are common LOD methods) but the majority are models.  It is clear they used limited planes for the leaves.

Still don't understand why this wasn't part of the direct, but then again Nintendo did leave out quite a few titles...They did showcase it during the Treehouse event so that's something I suppose.

They definitely are images. They even to the Mario 64 thing where they always face you.

Microsoft should buy these guys and put them to work on Kinect Sports 4 just to piss everyone off.

Because having an indie game as the best looking game in your E3 presentation is embarassing.

Should've been shownat Nintendos e3. But instead, we get Animal Crossing amiibos and weeaboo fire emblem skins
