I have to say, this doesn't have to do anything with Shadow of the Beast. It looks like a 2d God of War or Ryse, in my opinion. It's completely missing the mysterious atmosphere the old game was able to create. You, alone in a mysterious and strange world, the soundtrack blew you away and the level design with the difficulty created a feeling that still today is incredible to me.
I don't get any of this feeling from this footage, sadly. I hope they can improve on this further but right now it looks that it is not able to recreate a game that I would call a legit successor of the first game
