I know what you mean, it sucks.

However, Amazon Canada has a deal going on right now until tomrrow that if you preorder 2 games you get 20% off of each game and if you preorder 3 or more you get 30% off of each. Plus, you don't have to pay until the game is shipped.

I've seen that.. but seriously.. 3DS games for $60 and Wii U games for $75? That is wayyy too expensive D:

Unfortunately, the 3rd game I want isn't listed so I'll stick with Best Buy's 2 games for 20% off

Yeah some PS4 games are being listed for $80, which means I won't be getting many day one games anymore.

So today I was at an amusement park near Pittsburgh, in line for a ride. Well two teens behind me started to talk about how much they are excited for Fire Emblem Fates and their concerns on the pricing. The other one apperently watched E3 and he mentioned that SMTxFE looked "weird" he also said to the other that Xenoblade Chronicles X releases in December and he cannot wait. I never thought of any of this games as mainstream so I thought it was weird to hear about them so out of context like that.

btw I'm from Pittsburgh (Butler).  Were you at Kennywood for this?

Yep, was in line for the Black Widow ride haha.

My E3 post story: I was at a get together and trying to chat with strangers and when one guy mentioned Final Fantasy VII:R all the guys eyes got big and discussed excitedly about how long so many of us have waited for this day. These were men in their 20s and 30s for reference.

It was surreal as even though I am an adult finding video games to be a topic of conversation among adults is still new and unusual experience in social settings.

Ever since Awakening, I would say fire emblem has reached a good point of popularity. I wouldn't say mainstream, but it is at a decent place.

Likewise, having shulk in smash bros probably opened eyes to xenoblade chronicles in general. Xenoblade being an futuristic open world game may lead it to becoming a known franchise in the west like fire emblem.

Ultimately though, these guys just seems to know way more about Nintendo then the average person so I wouldn't really read too much into this.
