So today I was at an amusement park near Pittsburgh, in line for a ride. Well two teens behind me started to talk about how much they are excited for Fire Emblem Fates and their concerns on the pricing. The other one apperently watched E3 and he mentioned that SMTxFE looked "weird" he also said to the other that Xenoblade Chronicles X releases in December and he cannot wait. I never thought of any of this games as mainstream so I thought it was weird to hear about them so out of context like that.

I went to babysit my neighbor's kids today and one of them wouldn't stop talking about Nintendo and some of the games they showed off at E3, even mentioning Fire Emblem Fates and SMTxFE.

When I went to preorder battlefront today the gamestop clerk said how disappointing E3 was and how Sony's conference was crap because he never played FF7 and didn't care, had never heard of Shenmue, and thought TLG was boring looking. Oh yeah and he also acted like they weren't surprises and everyone knew they were coming. I didn't even argue with him it just seemed so pointless. I mean I'm not even a huge fan of those franchises/studios but anyone who claims they weren't shocked and didn't get excited that 3 of the most left for dead and requested games of all time are now a reality just doesn't have a heart. I'm happy for those fans. Also I might try out a JRPG for the first time now in earnest

Confirmed: E3 needs nothing but militaristic shooters from this point forth. I would not want to see him disappointed once more.

No worries.  I'm giving him a shit review on the survey.  He was such a blatant Xbox fanboy it was ridiculous.  He literally insulted every piece of Playstation exclusive news and said BC outweighed the entire conference by himself.  All I needed to say to spark all this is that I liked what was shown of Battlefront at E3 and that's why I was preordering it lol.  Good thing is the last guy (who I gave a great review to) really was positive about every console and said how much he was looking forward to Until Dawn and Halo 5 which I agreed with and we had a nice chat.

btw I'm from Pittsburgh (Butler).  Were you at Kennywood for this?

However, Amazon Canada has a deal going on right now until tomrrow that if you preorder 2 games you get 20% off of each game and if you preorder 3 or more you get 30% off of each. Plus, you don't have to pay until the game is shipped.

I've seen that.. but seriously.. 3DS games for $60 and Wii U games for $75? That is wayyy too expensive D:

Unfortunately, the 3rd game I want isn't listed so I'll stick with Best Buy's 2 games for 20% off
