why the poll is exclusive to home consoles? there are other conferences and i thought SE, and other 3rd party have better conferences. surely Sony's presentation is good since it includes an SE game.

Compared to Microsoft conference highlights where they had Backward compability (din't see that coming), mods coming to Fallout 4 big announcement (I don't care if it's exclusive to Xbox one and added bonus of Fall out 3 for free), new elite controler (surprising after previously announce new Xbox one controller with 3.5 MM jack), Recore new IP, Rare Replay and new IP Sea of Thieves, Gears 4, I'm actually excited about Halo 5 and Rise of Tomb raiders that are coming this year (both had a good showing).

But what you are saying is highly subjective.

Note Fallout Mods are coming to PS4... not really that amazing news.
Backward compatibility - this was a crowd pleaser, but it's not a new game, it's old games.
Rare Replay - a collection of old rare game - not even remasters..
Sea of thieves - doesn't look that great and is going to fail and i don't know why thats the best rare could come up with - a multiplayer game...gah
Gears 4... didnt look that great, shown too early
Halo 5 - Not particularly exciting gameplay - multiplayer looked stale in comparison to Doom and Battlefront
Tomb Raider - presentation was quite poor - didnt show any evolution from the previous entry, looks like the same game
Elite controller - errrm ok, £90 odd quid for another controller, very limited appeal.. ok yeah thats exciting gaming news...
CGI Trailers with no gameplay (again)

This is why i thought MS's show was poor. I mean they spent so long on hololens a product that is going to do nothing in the world of games.

You're basically doing the same as him.... -___-

That was my point ;)  - basically just showing how subjective it is,... the groundswell suggests Sony won, I think some people were expecting an easy victory after the backwards compatibilty announcement. Now it's swung the other way, the only thing left is lists to try and convince people that the XBO had the better conference, which is pointless, so I post a list showing how the opposite can easily be done.

Sorry i had to go with such a silly easy method, but i think it just proves how pointless it all is.

Edit... If people think MS won, thats cool I dont have a problem with that, but when things like this are subjective (like i'm not going to get excited by yet another Forza game, while someone else might)...I find it all a bit tedious :)

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Sony. I prefer Nintendo and MS consoles, but this year Sony was easily the best. MS was average and Nintendo was terrible.

We're on the same page, then.

This is why i thought MS's show was poor. I mean they spent so long on hololens a product that is going to do nothing in the world of games.

Backward Compatibility - is huge news. Fans #1 request on both consoles and we're getting some free games with Fall out 4 and Siege games.
Recore - This game is huge, Sony already has more establish development house and Microsoft struggle to get exclusive to match Sony's. This game was totaly unexpected and I can't wait to play it.
RARE - I think your being subjective on this one...Sea of Thieves - This is very interesting effort by Rare and I'm glad to see they're not doing Kinect game anymore. The game also coming to PC so not the biggest exclusive IP, microsoft fans wanted. Rare replay is pretty huge news, especially that it's coming this summer and only going to cost $30.

Gears 4... It's not Uncharted 4 or Horizon.... but come one it looked amazing... the game gave you a small preview on what to expect more GEARS. They showed that the game will retain the exciting two players coop campaign. This game is a big Holiday 2016 titles.
Tomb Raider - More of the same from one of the best game of last gen is exactly what we should be asking and the key point made during the conference more focus on TOMB RAIDING. One of my biggest pet peeves when playing Uncharted games is the numbers of enemies you have to kill and more tomb raiding is exactly what I want from Rise of the Tomb raider. It's a huge Holiday 2015 game, from what they shown I fully expect high metacritic on this game.
Halo 5 - If you never liked Halo, Halo 5 not going to get you pump. I've played the beta the multiplayer going to be amazing. Warzone was a very pleasant surprise, the campaign look has top notch has in previous games. Can't wait to get this game.  Well Battlefront is star wars obviously that looked amazing regardless of what game your comparing it.
Fallout 4 - Mods coming to is very big console news regardless is if coming to PS4, Fallout 4 is one of the biggest game this year and Xbox one getting exclusively Fallout 3 with Fall out 4 is pretty big news.

The fact that you actually calling the show poor is extremely subjective. This is by far one of the best Microsoft showing.

You really didn't get the point he was making, even though he explained it...

I've heard for Fallout 4 mods, they are created on a PC then transferred to X1.

I don't think Sony is funding all of Shenmue 3.

Bet they do after seeing how popular it is.

Declaring a winner for E3 is simply being subjective.... I'm thinking that MS won this E3 and he's claiming I'm being subjective towards MS!

The same has every one who being subjective taking Sony as the winner. I can see why people would claim that Sony had a better E3 but if anything Sony edges out Microsoft or maybe Bethesda (dark horse of the race).
