Forums - Nintendo - New 3DS' E3 presence, or lack thereof. + My Nintendo E3 rating

There was a lack of big-hitting 3DS games at all this E3. I don't think any third-party conferences even talked about games they were making for it, which is kind of bothersome. (Mainly Square Enix...)

However, I'm not that surprised. I'm annoyed, because 3DS deserves new and better games more than the Wii U does, and a little ho-hum, but in no way astonished.

Both Square-enix and Capcom made announcements for the 3DS pre-E3. The games that thye did announce should be amazing (Monster Hunter X, Monster Hunter Stories, Dragon Quest VIII), however, there is no news whether those games will make it to the West or not.

If they don't come to the West, then I don't really care. It seems harsh, but it's not like I'll be able to play them so they don't matter to me.

...But I sooo want DQ VIII. Just give it to me, SE! Please!

Exactly it's a 3DS with the Circle Pad Pro & Amiibo Adapter built in, the face-tracking 3D was a last minute decision.

@ Zorg1000: It also runs HTML 5 and has more RAM. I would like proof that the face-tracking 3D was a last minute decision. Do you have Nintendo's design plans? That really just comes across as a very strange claim, just saying. I mean whether it was a last minute decision or not, does that really matter? It makes the 3D excellent. There is nothing wrong with that.

@Soundwave: I understand that other developers will likely ignore the New 3DS for the most part, however, Nintendo could have announced another game boasting that little extra power under the New 3DS' hood, even if it is just another remake or port, anything would have been better than nothing.

Miyamoto recently stated it was added last minute, sorry I don't have a link to the article, should be pretty easy to find it on Google tho. Ur getting kinda defensive for no reason tho, I never said there was anything wrong with it.

Sorry if I came across as defensive, I simply misunderstood you. Generally when people say something is a last minute addition, normally there is a negative connotation involved. It implies it was rushed.
