Forums - Gaming - So, what happened at Nintendo direct?

Basically, the new games they announced weren't very good, aside from Star Fox Zero (though there is mixed reception for that game too)

The Animal Crossing for Wii U is a spin off Mario Party game and the Metroid Prime for 3DS is really weird.

I found the new Zelda 3DS game to be interesting, but would prefer if they focused on Zelda U.
But really, there are so many threads about the Digital Event so if you skim them, you can get a good idea of what was announced..

Their presentation was great though. Content not so much.

You should at least watch the intro. It was pretty good IMO.

no it wasnt. the start was probably the only good thing about the presentation.

The countless cutting back to irrelevant and unrelated muppet sequences, jus so Nintendo could self-indulge on nintendo fanboyism.

`Hey, my body is ready... i can look an bananas, my direct action is like so direct.`

On top of that ,each announcement was just so slow in its explanation. It was overall just boring to watch: teh anouncements just made it worst.

The presentation style was IMO almost the same as last years. You could even say they had irrelevant robot chicken sequences.
