Evidently Chinese sites don't care about NDAs.

Verdict: 9800GX2 ($600*) beats 3870X2 ($429) by a significant margin in all games except in Crysis w/AA.

Now I'm waiting for R700 vs. Geforce 9 Series.

Oooh, more charts in this thread....I like charts =P

It definitely looks like there are some driver issues with AA right now based on those. Some games go from very playable frame-rates to very unplayable and others just don't work with AA on.

Honestly I don't know why they bother testing Crysis with AA when those framerates aren't even close to playable. Even without AA the 3870X2 plays pretty badly. 25 fps average means it spends roughly half the time below 25 fps...

Ouch ATi... Looks like I'm going back to Nvidia next time I buy GPU!
Unless the price is horridly steep though, which it tends to be on Nvidia cards here.

How come the 9800GX2 is at 0 for Call of Juarez and UT3 with AA?

Uhm, if you'd read my post you could have deduced that pretty easily =P

The driver they are using is still not finished and as a result there are some serious issues with AA.  Also, quality AA is more and more taxing at high resolutions but it also is less and less needed at higher resolutions as well.

slap two 8800s together, name it 9800 and sell it for $600!
not impressed by nVidia and their miking of G92.

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

RAPE!
Now if only I had enough money.

What you should be unimpressed with is ATi failing to put any pressure on nVidia to do anything besides milking the G92.
