The first Alpha Flight was good, I have still somewhere the comic where Guardian was Killed in a explosion... A shocking event...
Did you did some comic book work???

@elgefe02 - Yes. I wrote an unpublished back story that was to appear in issue #3 & 4 of Captain Canuck. While that was unpublished at least it and I were mentioned in issue #2 - and I got paid.
If someone out there is ambitious, I'll send a signed copy of Issue #2 to the first person who can identify me correctly.
(PM me)
However, after issue 2 the market crashed and the series was turned into a newspaper strip which I did 2 months worth of story on. Later part of that was compiled as Issue #3.
I also had 2 other indepentants buy work from me, which also went unpublished when the industry crashed and all three studios closed shop. Which is why I got out of the comics field.

From Wiki:
Since the original there have been two newer incarnations of the Canadian icon: Comely launched a second version in 1993, under the banner of Semple Comics. Set in the present, Captain Canuck: Reborn featured a new Captain Canuck, Darren Oak, who fought a global conspiracy. This title lasted only four issues (#0-3) and was drawn by Richard Comely, Leonard Kirk and Sandy Carruthers with inks by Eric Theriault. That incarnation continued as a newspaper comic strip for a short while.
