They announced the FF7 port last year for PS4, not X1, and I'm pretty sure (if this is true) that announcement was an intentional troll to prepare the real announcement. Plus Verendus (insider) on Neogaf talked about the remake for a long time, and I think he always said it was a PS4 exclusive. If he's right about the game being made, I believe him about the platform too. 

 

But let's see if it's real first! 


I swear at PSX they claimed we'd get the FF7 port in early-spring... and its now almost Q3. I don't see how it could take that long to port the PC version of FFVII to PS4 (strip out the mods + add trophies).

Someone from Sony did say there would be megatons during the confrenece and then it was deleted. Hmmm, hmmmmmmm, hmm?

Its definitely true, Siliconera just wanted to get the jump on news. They didn't state it was rumor, they're announcing as a fact
