ps3 all the way better controller.. more bang for your buck.. better reliability... top 3rd party games now equal or better their 360 counterparts.... free online... home integration coming soon.. DLC is sometimes free even though 360 owners sometimes pay for the same content...

I'm still enjoying my PS2 and PSP a lot, but if I must move on, I'd probably buy a PS3.

My main arguments:
- it's reliable. It has a very low failure rate.
- It's variety in games. I don't wanna play FPS and racegames only. After so many years the 360 only has these type of games rated the highest.
- Free online gaming. Paying for your internet, paying for Live, paying for extra downloads for a game you allready bought at 60-70 euros. It's gonna cost way more than that and I believe there are several other ways to compensate your network. But MS sure is best at organising the online features, no doubts about that, but hey, they are dominating the PC bizz for years, also because of the online stuff....
- Final Fantasy XIII/Versus XIII, Little Big Planet, the game from the creators of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, Heavy Rain, MGS 4, God of War III, GT 5. I could go on, but basically I think the PS3 will offer me more games that interest me than 360 has to offer. Perhaps Alan Wake would be an exception, but than again, you simply can't play all.
- My previous experiences.

I must be jaded... Disegea Valkyrie and Heavy rain are the only ones I'm interested in! But thanks, didn't know much about them. Looked em up (Interesting) . Not interested in KZ (Played first, it sucked) Already liked but not loved resistance so resistance 2 is worth a look. Was really keen for Haze until I saw a vid of a guy running round getting armoured soliders high and somehow doing the same with a grenade. Just blew my suspension of disbelief. AC wasn't good for me, don't like GTAIV, don't play racing games... Not sure about final fantasy... God of War 3 is the ONLY one im really looking forward to! (But this is the BIG one) Don't play online on the console so home is nothing to me. Oh and I haven't played a single Blu ray disk. Only games I have are Resistance, R+C and UC drakes fortune.

 P.S My TV is a 53" Bravia LCD. 1080p. DVD's are fine for me.

I HOPE theres more than that, otherwise my Xbox is going to get a LOT of use. Since I only have one HDMI port to share between two consoles, I just buy the Xbox versions of multi-plat, because it's too much hassle unplugging the HDMI cables all the time.

Just buy the console with the games you like the most, simple as that really. Graphically if you have to stare closely at the screen, call it subjective or a wash... It really doesn't matter. Lastly RROD isn't a big deal anymore, if it is... Just wait till Aug or so and it will be all gone. This is coming from a guy whos on his 4th PS2, all paid for. I still bought a PS3 60gb near launch.

If you are a PC gamer, then Xbox 360 is completely useless and pointless, and PS3 is the only choice. But if you don't play on PC, then Xbox 360 is the next best thing.

Either way, PC+Wii is the best combo for this gen.

I'm actually thinking about getting a 360 as a PS3 owner, I want LO, ME (+ 2), Fable 2 and GeoW 2 (+1) (if there is not a huge amount of horror in it)

The PS3 doesn't have any of those games here in America and outside of GT5 Prologue and Disgaea 3, not anywhere else in the world either. You seem to forget you're using the old "Just wait till the games are here" argument to justify a PS3 purchase off of potential. I myself want a PS3, but why would I buy one based off of an argument that if I buy one now, i'll be able to have a great lineup by 2009? Why not just buy one then?

BTW, Home is not a game. I just thought I would let you know that, since it's in your game lineup.

Just get a 360 dude

I got both, 360 because at the time it was the only console out (of this gen) and i got a PS3 as i had a PS1 and a PS2 and it has blu-ray and it will have home, LBP, GT5, MGS4 (in 4 mins) and more!

360. Has more games I want now, and with the recent JRPG announcments, its looking like it will have games I want in the future. PSP and PS2 should be able to satisfy my SRPG needs :D
