Microsoft is announcing the next Gears of War on Monday. Expect a CG trailer for the new game and maybe a Gear of War HD Collection.

There are a few things you need to know about the new game.

Microsoft purchased the Gears of War IP last year so the next Gears of War game is not coming this year and it’s probably not coming next year.

The original Gears of War games that many know and love were developed by Epic Games. The new Gears of War game is being developed by The Coalition (previously known as Black Tusk Studios) the studio known for Microsoft Flight and Kinect games before it changed. link

Apparently you need to learn a couple of things about the studio... its the basic rule before you try passing on "knowledge" to others and not be laughed at... I mean if yu only bothered to check since you dont know, either wiki or their website you would know much better. Ever since the studio was hiring you would know its full of pros building only next gen tripple A projects and nothing to do with MS flight or Kinect... from their site

This is their first project and no Kinect title. Im not sure if you are trolling or actually posting this seriously x.x

I am 100% serious. I know they worked to evolve the studio (I personally think they should make a new IP) but it is important that people know that it's not Epic and that it's not coming until 2017. Just like Scalebound and other CG games from last year isn't coming this year.

You may be right. I think it's way too soon to announce anything at E3 that's launching later then Christmas the year after after the announcement. I also think MS should create IPs instead of buying IPs. I also think that a Gears from any studio other than Epic isn't Gears (same with other outsourced IPs). But I also want to hear other peoples opinion on those topics that's why I'm starting diffenrent debate threads.

There are (most likely) people who worked on Kinect, so what? Naughty Dog evolved from a company that made 3D platformers to a company whos latest game is about an apocalyptic M-rated game.
