Um, Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime had a co-launch. So yes, it could happen.

Awww... I thought this thread had some news on a new DK game. But I agree a true DKC game is long overdue and I hope to see one out by next year.
Minish Cap and Twilight Princess launched pretty close together, too. I'm ready for a new Donkey Kong adventure. Gimme!! *edit* no they didn't. my bad.
I would prefer something other than an action/adventure game. We just got Mario Galaxy and I'm personally itching for a new experience. I think the idea of keeping Donkey Kong in 2D is a great idea. I was never much of a fan of any of the 3D action/adventures and Konga games.

Definitively. I dont know why nintendo cut of the bongos so fast, Wii casual gaming style suits perfectly for the bongos. The should have left the bongos on the donkey kong racing game and maybe release a mix of Donkey Konga 1 and 2 on a Wii disc. I think they have potential and if done righ tthey could be as big as brain age and the wii series.
On the new Donkey Kong game I would like to see a sequel to Jungle beat, but with the bongos and DKC1 style...
I think it is a great idea, a co launch is good when you a relaunching an old IP like they did with metriod.
DK:Wii would give the Wii a heavy hitter around this time next year : ).

What were the last "normal" DK games? the GBA ports?
I think that is the only way to "bring DK back", and not with bongo games. IMO not even Jungle Climber 2 was a "real" DK game.
they should make something like they did with NSMB for the DS, but for the Wii I really don't know :P
at least it should receive a proper "A-team" treatment.
