Oh man, how I love my little guy screaming "Daddy!" and running at me and giving me a tackle hug when I get home. Yesterday he came at me with such force that he knocked me backward to the ground while I was kneeling down. The kid is 2. I love it.

And I will add, that I learn not to worry about day to day problems... those kill your happiness and will. Everything problem we have has a solution in a long or short term.

I basically agree with you, but I wouldn't say happiness is over-rated. I would more say unhappiness is under-rated. Or better yet, the ups and downs of life are under appreciated. Life is a roller coaster. You can't have the thrilling ride without both the ups and downs.
And I believe we are here to experience. Experience joy, experience depression. Experience the thrill of overcoming terrible obstacles. Experience a lazy day, doing nothing at all.

Also I concur with madskillz on the kids and love of a good woman (guy) thing, but I'll add: If they leave, don't live in regret but be open to accepting the love of another and sooner or later, you'll find them.

Yeah. That seems like a better way to say it. But I also think contentment is under-rated.
