I thought that on-disc locked content was an unforgivable error that was typical of Capcom and other evil publishers. But I guess Nintendo not only doesn't get the criticism as they even get praised by "releasing content timely so people are drawed back to the game".

What exactly is the prevailing evil here? It's free, they've been upfront on how they intend to release the content and the consumers have so far have appreciated the constant refresh of new content. It's downright disingenious to compare what Nintendo is doing to disc lock content that is behind a pay wall.

I was wondering when the inevitable "It's ok when Nintendo does it" post would come up.

News flash, the updates are free. And you must have missed all the criticism. Or you just wanted to post some untrue stereotypes about Nintendo fans again.

I wouldn't call it an "update" when they are already on the original game.

Single Player????

what am i missing in this game?

I am playing Captain Cuttlefish battles and online... is there anything else?

with this dlc and release everyweek Nintendo really wants this game to "Stay Fresh"!

level 8, level 9, level 15 and level 20 in the single player are all hidden maps for the multiplayer.

It looks like very interesting map!

I'm glad they are releasing new maps quickly! It might not be such a bad tactic after all

What you'd call it is irrelevant.

You can't call it an update if it's just unlocking content that was there before.

An update is needed to unlock the content.

You can't call it dlc, but you can call it an update. Besides, I don't think everything is on disk and some things will be dlc.

More locked content, yay!

Really would like for you to choose your own maps, but oh well
