Forums - Gaming - PS4, XBox One to Launch 1TB models

Microsoft better release a slim X1 too, if they release a new controller but not a console its gonna be like wtf.  Already got a PS4 so I'll probably buy a 2tb internal HDD down the road since Sony won't support external HDDs.

ms's conference is earlier in the day so clearly sony is copying them. when will sony learn to innovate?!

What, the new ps4 consoles generate less energy? Why have I been plugging my ps4 in, it generates its own power, awesome.

If it was made cheaper than yeah I;d go for it but if not I;d rather buy a cheap external 2-3tb and hook it up then.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

1TB models?

Hmm, now where have I heard this before?

In all seriousness, that's pretty nice.

Already got a 2TB drive in my console as I realised early on that 500GB was not going to be enough... Glad to see that they are too lol

I don't think that we will see a slim X1 until next E3 but the 1TB model that is about to drop will already feature some more energy effienent components as will the 1TB PS4.

Got a 2TB in my PS4 already.

I split open a Seagate external drive and used that as it was by far cheaper than getting an external one... It cost me £59.99 and when I took out the 500GB drive that came with the PS4 I used that in the external chassis

I don't understand why MS would need to redesign the controller. Unless they are doing away with external battery pack and going with the internal rechargeable battery. That's about the only think that would seem to be a reason to redesign the controller.
