Look at my GTAV example, by the logic you guys have that is more than 5 games in one, a shooter, a car racing, a boat racing, bike racing, ... I cant keep the count, so many games.

What are you even talking about, GTA V is one game. If GTA V would just be about doing one of those countless things you can do, then no one would buy it. People want just really good games that are worth the money, and a bit of variety sometimes. Nothing more, doesnt need to be griddy and realistic looking or it doesnt need to be childish disney looking. Shouldn't matter at all

Its an awful example and doesnt support what we're saying at all, based on what u just said than Mario 3D World is a platformer, a puzzle game, a water-dinosaur riding simulator, a cat simulator, a Goomba/Koopa killing simulator, etc. See how ridiculous it sounds when u act like each individual task in a game is its own game?

Nintendo's mindshare in the last years have affected some games, like SSB lacking sp content, not a good story por Paper Mario 3DS or MK8 being easier than normal (giving us a terrible item balance and wider tracks for all the audience.
But not all games feel like that, for example the new Fire Emblem has (looks like) to be more story focused, or Xenobalde Chronicles.
The thing is that this is not the same Nintendo that make risk moves like Super Mario Sunshine, outsourcing some of their IP's like F-Zero or giving us different content like going from The Wind Waker to Twilight Princess.

The point is, based on looks and assets, in mario galaxy you could perfectly go and hop into a kart, and start a race in a circuit, just like OP is suggesting and for any other company (not nintendo) that would seems normal, you would not thing its 2 games but nintendo goes and makes 5 games with the same assets and sells them and you guys see it as different games just becuase nintendo decided to split the gameplay.

Im talking about the fact that if you are in for example mario galaxy and would be able to get in a kart, no one would be surprise, it would just be a new gameplay mechanic of mario galaxy, thats how much their games look the same, look at the yoshi/kirby game, their games are too similar, NOTE: I think they make good games, what im saying is that if you buy nintendo you get one flavor, and thats it, a handfull of good games per year where 90 % share assets is a hard sell.

Ya it wouldn't be unusual for a Mario platformer to have a level similar to Mario Kart but for a Mario platformer to have 30+ racing levels that also let's u play as 30+ different characters? Does that sound plausible to u? If it does than ur a lost cause.

I'm hoping the next system has Wii U gamepad compatibility. Also hope games are on SD cards.

But, you see, you said all Nintendo games. So I've already proven you wrong. But there's still the fact that Pikmin is nothing like Animal Crossing, which is nothing like Pokemon, which is nothing like Xenoblade, which is nothing like Eternal Darkness, which is nothing like Mario Kart, which is nothing like Rhythm Heaven, which is nothing like Fatal Frame, which is nothing like Smash Bros., which is nothing like Donkey Kong Country, which is nothing like Zelda, which is nothing like The Wonderful 101, which is nothing like Hyrule Warriors, which is nothing like Splatoon, which is nothing like Pushmo, which is nothing like F-Zero, which is nothing like Metroid, which is nothing like Star Fox, which is nothing like Kid Icarus, which is nothing like Kirby, which is nothing like Sin & Punishment, which is nothing like Chibi Robo, which is nothing like Golden Sun, which is nothing like Elite Beat Agents, which is nothing like Endless Ocean, which is nothing like Advance Wars, which is nothing like Wave Race, which is nothing like Pilotwings. HOWEVER, I will humor you. What Nintendo games are so alike and have the same exact assets with only gameplay changes (because that doesn't matter)? |
They are all again you just dont know how to match them, try to match them correctly, is not so hard.
