They have damaged enough the brand this gen with a flood of reused content. The best for the franchise is to forget these dark times and the team to do the right thing: develop an original complete Zelda game and release it next holiday season (2016). No more delays, no special editions, no DLC, no amiibo. Just the complete game.

Yes, they are truly dark times, lol.

And no, brand isn't damaged.

It is. Now is another milked Nintendo franchise. 3 remakes in one gen is the worst. One per gen was more than enough.

Nope. MM3D was the Zelda game of the year.

A Link Between Worlds, Wind Waker HD, also Aonuma was supervisor on OoT, Hyrule Warriors and MM3D.

So basically, and as I always said, wasting time.

4 Zelda games for fans is wasting time!? Ok, then.

3 remakes, a direct sequel and a spinoff. Yes, it is for fans that wants new content.

Was going to say maybe, but this sort of bumps that down to'no'

I hope you're all wrong that are saying November 2016. It would make sense, but I'm really hoping for Q1 maybe Q2 2016 for Zelda U.

The Amiibo game will have a Hyrule world in it.

Wrong. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Hyrule Warriors were both announced during a Nintendo Direct, both before that years E3 event.

Zelda is my favourite franchise.
I was more than happy to get a remake of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (they both needed the visual update, N64 has not aged that well).

The Wind Waker HD was the only one that caught me off guard, because at the time I was waiting for a Majora's Mask remake announcement. However, as it turns out, this was a good remake/remaster, and it did not cause any delays with Zelda U. So this was a good thing to tide 'fans' over.

A Link Between Worlds was a sequel to A Link to the Past, so what? It still featured new content, areas, game mechanics, story and characters.

Hyrule Warriors, the spinoff title was actually a lot of fun and contains a lot of content and fanservice. It is by no means as good as a genuine Zelda game, but it was still good fun nonetheless.

So while there has been remakes (with new content added in), a sequel and a spinoff, they have had new content. What you want is the next 3D installment, because evidentally, there is new Zelda content, it just does not interest YOU.

There are those that like the more 'realistic' Zelda games (Twilight Princess). There are those that dislike the 'realistic' Zelda games.
There are those that like the 'toon' Zelda games (Wind Waker). Those are those that dislike the 'toon' Zelda games.

Add fans like myself into the mix that like all the Zelda games and you have a mixed fanbase.

Stop speaking on behalf of the entire Zelda fanbase, because myself and as well as others I know have enjoyed these games. I am aware that not everyone wants these games, but as far as Zelda goes, there is always a division between the Zelda fanbase.

no
we had MM3D already this year.
