Maybe they are crap third party games and are not worth mentioning or wasting money on promoting.

Only major 3rd party game since Cmas was NMH(and that was very Niche), I am suprised Bully did not get any advertising. I would assume that games like Bloom Box will get major advertisements(Spielberg) in the coming while.

Last I saw was Mario & Sonic a while back for the wii. But no, Nintendo shouldn't do anything about it, the producers should be responsible for their own advertising. Nintendo already stated they wouldn't be advertising any more (or maybe just not as much) until they can meet demand, and I haven't seen a Wii would like to play commercial since then other than on the internet.

Nintendo has a stronger first-party lineup than Sony or Microsoft, so it tends not to have to advertize them.
I have often said on here that one reason Carnival Games sold was that Take Two did a lot of advertising for it. Meanwhile, other third parties don't do nearly as much in that arena. I can only remember Madden 08 and RR2 doing ads recently (again, I don't watch a lot of TV) -- not including multiplatform efforts.
And if Nintendo was not nice to third parties, its Wii website would not be dominated by them right now. While the main pix is SSBB, five of the six games on the page are third party, as are all three of the subfeatures at the bottom of the page.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
