See, the way I see it play out: MS bought the holiday 2015 period. They did it to plug in a hole in tbeir exclusives, as well as because they didn't have the expertise to make their own action-adventure (per P. Spencer, not my words). So, as soon as 2016 arrives they have no more benefit from it, and SE will be able to release it elsewhere. They are developing other versions concurrently, and then put them on ice. Now SE needs to wait for Uncharted release date, which we should get by mid November, and then just space Tomb Raider about two-three months apart. So, we get both games by June at the latest. And those will be both great games, this trailer looks fantastic, imagine just how it will look when it comes to PS4. |
Just have to hope evil MS doesn't pay CD to make the fps worse on PS4...
It's funny reading some of the previous comments. "It Looks Good"... well of course it's a CGI trailer lol. Anyway, I'm glad the 360 version isn't canceled since I don't plan on getting an Xbox One. This can be a Dark Horse for GOTY if they fix some of the problems with the previous game.
Looking great! Can't wait for the gameplay reveal at E3.
I just hope it doesn't have an abundance of qte's like the predecessor

What else are we supposed to talk about? A few seconds of a CGI teaser with nothing new? It's as useless as the platform talk IMO, except for a hype thread (which are usually useless too ;) ).
For Ori and Screamride, there isn't a whole buzz about exclusivity, they never had to clarify anything, They have to clarify for TR, but they never did even when asked to. Big difference.

The only thing they need to clarify is the release date for X1 owners, who they provide and paid to provide services for.
They are not responsible for other platforms.
Lol it's so funny that people think it won't come to PS4. Why would they even say it was timed? People are comparing it to Dead Rising 3 and Ryse but those two games were touted as full Xbox One exclusives and then they came to PC. If it was the same as those two, Rise of the Tomb Raider should be a full Xbox One exclusive.
"There is only one race, the pathetic begging race"

Yea, they'll port a remastered version for PS4. Add to the growing library of greatest hits.
