That one is surprising but Crysis being exclusive kinda sucks. We don't need another exclusive FPS, especially one which isn't good.

MS likely made the deal because this game will probably be a Windows 10 Exclusive and Support DX12 (also because Crytek have no Money and I know that EA refused to publish this one), I want it to be good but the games in the Series got progressively worse Maybe we can get a Crysis Collection out if the deal but only Singleplayer and include Warhead to add value.

I assume the reason they didnt go for Ryse 2 is because most Ryse fans already own an XBOX One. Microsoft has tons of coming games to appease current owners. What they need are games to expand the XBOX One's audience. Kinda like the Tomb Raider deal.

Yeah Microsoft has a lot of shooters, but they aren't all releasing at the same time. Halo 5 is this year and QB is spring 2016. Once those release it's just C4 and Gears. I imagine C4 will release mid 2016 and Gears will be holliday 2016, but I'm not privy to this info.

I could see a new Crysis being console exclusive, just because the series has always struggled to live up to sales expectations and actually make money for Crytek. They'd likely be very tempted to take that guaranteed money for an exclusivity deal.

That being said, this leak is still a bit sketchy to me. Crytek expressed even before Crysis 3 shipped that not only would the next Crysis game not be Crysis 4, but that they were considering a radically different game, and taking the franchise away from FPS.

So Quantum Break is coming sooner than I expected. Hyped!

I guess an exclusivity would be big news but i never cared about this franchise.

Don't forget msft and Crytek had a fall out after Ryse 2 was canned
