Yea its not in a bad spot its up 2.8mil in the same time frame as the 360 and see no reason why the X1 can't keep 10m sales a year going forward. I'm waiting desperately for the Fallout Limited Edition console or do you guys think since they got exclusive on RoTR they should also make a Limited Edition for it?

I definitely want to buy an amazing looking Limited Edition X1 this holiday if they arrive

Yeah, 5 days, but there is an hour limit that varies by game. Probably only a few hours for SW Battlefront since Sony has the marketing rights to it.

So basically something like a 3 hour early access is what your saying?

Hard to tell the exact amount. Sony had marketing rights for Battlefield Hardline, but the EA Access trial on XB1 gave you a full 10 hours to play it (though you could only play the first 2 campaign missions, the rest of your 10 hours was restricted to multiplayer).

Ah OK I imagine something similar to that may happen again then. Probably won't be a Day One buy for me with to many other releases I will be busy with was just curious.

I don't mind exclusives either. It's just that there is this general attitude among all the console fanbases that exclusive automaically equals hype and quality. But when I personally go and look at my top 20 games of all-time, less than half are exclusives. Statistically speaking, several times as many 3rd party games release in any given year than exclusives. So logically, there should be more top quality 3rd party games releasing in any given year than exclusives as well. I guess I'm just wired differently, I don't see exclusives and automatically think "that's going to be great", if an exclusive looks great then I get hyped for it, if a 3rd party looks great I get hyped for it.

Just looking at this tournament so far I've seen several great looking 3rd parties eliminated by exclusives, sometimes the exclusive truly looked great and deserved to win, but other times they were exclusives we either know very little about (just a teaser trailer) or that are ports/remakes of older games. Maybe it's just me, but I'll take a brand new 3rd party with great looking gameplay footage over a port/remake or teaser trailer exclusive any day.

That will always be a problem especially on VGC . People here mainly talk and care about exclusives and care about list wars, metacritic reviews for exclusives... But at the end of the day, the sales speak for themselves and third party games always sell better. Only the big exclusives like Halo, Uncharted etc. sell very well.

Yeah, they really need Halo 5 and Fallout 4 bundles for $300 this Holiday season, maybe a RotTR bundle as well. If they do that, XB1 will definitely be up over last year's already huge Holiday sales. The August and September bundles are nice though, they should keep XB1 up year over year those months. XB1 has been up year over year pretty consistently each month so far this year, XB1 is up about 500k year over year so far overall.

The more bundles, the better. That seems like Sony's policy this gen and it look's like its working for them. 

Yeah, I can't imagine how huge sales will be if X1 hits $299 along with Halo 5. MS better keep up with the demand! 

To be fair, last year it was $499 for the first 6 months and then it dropped the $399, so its not surprising that it's selling better.

Fallout 4 because it's coming out this year and advertisement right for X1 and a possibility of the X1 Fallout edition, if it isn't announced then I will regret voting for it :-p

I wish I can vote for Gears 4 as well..........OH WAIT! :)
