so after i played splatoon for the half day im still addicted and think its awesome.

but what the hell is nintendos problem with online? 

Almost every engagement ends with death for both sides. Often i do get the kill and then i die several seconds later and the game tells me the guy i just killed 3 seconds ago killed me...wtf?

Also sometimes my ink doesnt get on the floor for several seconds, and then boom its there.

Do you guys have same issues? It does remember me on the mario kart issues i have alot (hit somebody with an item but in real he isnt hit).

Is it just my internet on nintendos fault? They should definitve work on this, it might be acceptable for a fun racer like mario kart but not for a shooter.

I didnt notice anything like that. But then when I played (last night). Traffic might not have been big.

Only problem i had was that I could not read the names of the Japanese gamers :)

That is due to someone lagging in the match and the easiest way to find out if its you or someone else is to see if its happening frequently to you or not. If its happening to you often, then its you but if its not, then its someone in the lobby

That's lag someone whether you or someone else is lagging.

hm i remember the mario kart problems start some weeks ago as i changed my internet provider so it might be my own fault. Anybody know what i could do?

You are probably lagging.
It happens really rarely to me.

just did a quick test an started counter strik source on my notebook. Got a ping of 40ms which isnt to bad right? laptop uses same wifi as wii u

That happened to me during the test fire.

No ping indicator?

Yeah, i would say about 10% of my matches had been like that, but it only happens at the first like 30 secs.
