Forums - Sony - Sony now Calls the PS Vita a “Legacy Platform” Outside of Japan/Asia

I actually regret selling my Vita, I'll probably buy another one once it gets a price drop.

I'm also guessing Gravity Rush 2 isn't coming then :(

GBA would've sold over 100 million units if it had been given a proper 5 year cycle.

3DS is only at 54 million or so after almost 4+ full years on the market.

3DS only lifecycle was from 2011-2016/17.

:/ oh well at least Sony can put all it's development efforts towards the PS4 which will lead to a more sexy Library and more domination in the home consoles I guess. All of Sonys Studios that were making handheld games will be making PS4 titles now.

I told you everyone that dat price cut coming. They want to stay way from it

That would be the most horrible thing they could do to us. >_<

While is financally wise to drop PS Vita - I still can't believe that Sony will opt out the handheld business completly.

Maybe they announce a mobile/handheld hybrid at E3.

Otherwise its up on Nintendo to show why handhelds still matter in gaming...

Sony finally keeping up with the lingo of the rest of the world.
