Pretty much what Goodnightmoon has said has been spot on imo

How can it be spot on, when its based on quality of games that haven't come out yet. The only guarantee we can give is as of now, PS4 has the better exclusives than XB1 so far this year. And I'm sure Sony will have something big for the holidays too and then we have their strong 2016 lineup.

True. Can't remember the last big new Nintendo IP hit that turned into a popular franchise with multiple entries. I may be overlooking but I really can't think of it.

And for cultural phenomenon I meant these.

You are incredibly biased aren´t you?

Why is bunch of crazy people a cultural phenomenon but not Nintendo when they sold 250 milions of consoles last generation?

Why is Halo 3 more important that Mario Galaxy, when Mario Galaxy sold more than Halo 3 and it had way better critical reception?

Why you decide what is cultural phenomenon and what not?

And really? Do you guys forget about Animal Crossing? (12m on DS, 8m on 3DS) Wii Sports? (80m)

It´s only a cultural phenomenon if you have a video of crazy people to prove it

I pointed to games like bayonetta. As for mario games; they are just nostalgia for me. Games that are called "cultural phenomenon" are no longer released in Nintendo home systems.

But I do see his point when saying Bloodborne is another Souls game. To me it looks like they're all in the same family.

Just 48 hours more, and you will have something to remember.

You dont get it. Nintendo "had" its fair share of cultural phenomenon. From the simpsons to all shows wii / ds has been shown. Games sold really well. But we are talking about present and future. Nintendo seems to lost its household name.

I know that, but since we are having a discussion, I'm sure you can say what exactly is wrong with my point that made you disagree.

Inklings are coming.

I´ll just say that.

Let´s end the conversation, because those videos have kill all the seriousness to be honest, it makes no sense to continue.

Should change the title to "the importance of status and shinies in gaming"

I could yes, but you've all ready made up your mind on the matter so no amount of what I say would change that. So it would be a circular conversation

Despite being biased I wont lie; splatton looks promising. But it has to sell well. Lets hope for the best.
