Forums - Gaming - Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster Announced (2016; PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, PC)

I mean that the common opinion was that RE Remake and RE zero was great games.
But still we have a LOT of people who call themselves gamers, who call themselves RE fans, but who didn't played this games with a sole reason that it was a Nintendo exclusive.
Its a shame really. Gamecube was somewhat niche console but to be RE fan and to not try this game on Wii at last - its a mystery for me. And now... 'praised be Capcom we can play this game 13 years after it was out...'

Did people really say that they weren't playing it because it was a Nintendo exclusive?  It seems more likely they didn't play it because not many people owned a Gamecube and one new Resident Evil game isn't really reason enough (which is no comment on the rest of the library, but people's tastes differ).

OT: I wonder what will happen once they have to tackle 2 & 3.

So called 'gamers'?

Please, give us the pleasure of explaining what you mean by that.

So what? a lot of nintendo fans didnt played resident evil outbreak 1 & 2 which were also great resident evil games as well, so whats your point?

in fact resident evil outbreak needs a remaster more than these gamecube games, so we can experience the games how they were supposed to be with an actual online mode.

Great news for fans, but it's really not for me. Tried playing RE HD, but it is just too old-fashioned, especially the camera and controls.
I'm eagerly awaiting any news on RE 7, as I am a huge fan of parts 4-6 and both Revelations (well, 6 a little less). Hopefully these old remakes make them enough money to give us a brand new game soon.

Wow this franchise is been milked to death. Why not just make resident evil 7. And make it actually decent unlike 5 and 6.

; ) Excellent news. I`m not even that mad that it`s not coming Wii U. It`s such an excellent game that all RE fans should experience.

Are you saying there are no RE fans on Wii U?

It's probably more, the game is already playable on Wii U as it came out on Wii?

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Since I know Capcom will not be giving this a physical release in the West, I will likely import the Japanese/Hong Kong version if it has English subs (most Resi games have English dub already, even in Japan). I just hope the pS4 version gets a physical release over there, since the PS4 version of Resident Evil Remaster did not get one.

Its much cheaper to upscale 480p game with decent graphics to 1080p ( Dolphin emulatior already did it some years ago), then to make modern AAA game.

Kinda sad that it isnt comming to the wii u.But still happy that it is being done, one of the few RE games i havent played!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

You can play RE Remake/Zero on wiiU since launch in its wii form. So no big deal.
